New Mickey Mouse Merch

Mickey Mouse merchandise is everywhere these days, from discount stores to jewelry boutiques and everything in between. It’s not exactly a new trend though. The original Mickey Mouse merch arrived shortly after the famous star’s debut in Steamboat Willie in 1928. In fact, the sale of Mickey Mouse products helped keep the Disney company afloat in the tough financial times of the 1930s.

Fast forward to 2020 and well, Disney merchandise could once again be a bright spot in an otherwise tough business year for Disney. It could also be a bright spot for Mickey fans. Today’s post takes a look at new Mickey Mouse Merch for 2020.

Oh, and please note, I have no financial interest in any of the items below. Just sharing as one fan to another!

American Eagle
From the Disney X AE line at American Eagle

One of the most recent Disney licensing deals to launch this year is a holiday collaboration with American Eagle. Officially labeled “Disney X AE” the new line just arrived on November 5. Some of the 40+ pieces in the collection are on-line only. All of them, like the denim jacket pictured above, are fun.

Other items include tees, hoodies, socks, pajamas and underwear. Some are online only and all, at least for now, are excluded from promotions.

If you’re looking to add a touch of Disney to your home surroundings, you can also check out the newest line from Pottery Barn.

From Pottery Barn

The traditional Pottery Barn brand features some seriously tempting Mickey merch like fun shaped pillows, classic Mickey sheets and cozy robes.

From Pottery Barn Teen

This collection also extends to Pottery Barn Kids, Pottery Barn Teen and Williams-Sonoma brands.

All together the Pottery Barn stores offer hundreds of fun Mickey items to pep up your space (and possibly deflate your wallet?!).

H&M
Women’s tee from H&M

The amount of affordable Disney merchandise at H&M is always a pleasant surprise. New Disney-themed tees, hoodies, jeans and more arrive with great frequency. Many include Mickey, although you’ll find plenty of the other Disney characters there too.

Beanie from H&M

Sadly, they also sell out fairly quickly too. So if you find some new Mickey merch to love, grab it before it’s gone!

Ray Ban

Speaking of grabbing before they’re gone… check out the sweet sunglasses featuring the history of Mickey! These frames are one of the latest entries in the ongoing collaboration between Disney and Ray-Ban.

Igloo
From Igloo

Switching gears a bit, Disney launched a new line of coolers with Igloo in late summer 2019. The coolers were so popular they’ve continued to launch updated styles over the last few months. The Mickey one shown above arrived this fall, along with a new (and slightly less peppy!) Villain series.

S’well
From S’well

Moving on from coolers to water bottles, check out these simple and classic water bottle styles from S’well. With a name like “S’well” you pretty much HAVE to have a Mickey Mouse line, right?

Herschel
From Herschel

Or how about this abstract Mickey Mouse backpack from Hershel? These classic, yet updated designs just launched earlier this fall.

If you’re looking for other types of Mickey-inspired bags, you can also check out the ever changing designs from Loungefly, Dooney & Burke, Petunia Pickle Bottom and Vera Bradley. That’s just to name a few. (Phew!)

Happy Feet
From Happy Socks

I’ll end with feet, which seems appropriate enough. Disney partnered with Happy Socks earlier this year to launch this crazy “80’s inspired” Mickey collection. The styles are colorful, fun and loud which is pretty much perfect for the uncolorful, not-so-fun and quiet 2020 we’ve had so far, don’t you think?

And with that, I’ll wrap it up. After 90+ years, Mickey merchandise is still going strong. I hope you found something new to like in this post today, or at least something to make you smile.

I’m not picky.

Add a little (Mickey merch) magic to your world!
